Director. Producer. Fixer. Amateur Pizza Chef.

Rob Huntoon was born in Queens, NY in 1980.  When he was almost 10 years old, his family moved to Niagara Falls, NY, where he still has family and lifelong friends.  After a few valiant attempts at higher learning, he moved back to New York City when he was 22 to attend film school.  His first real job on set was as a dolly grip on an independent feature film.  At one time early in his career, he was an unpaid camera operator for a famous Hip Hop mogul.  That "job" lasted for a few months... Finally breaking his way into the scene, he held numerous positions in the camera and lighting departments, and learned the technical side of film and video production. Through life's mysterious ways, he eventually landed in the production office, cut his teeth as a coordinator, graduated to production manager, learned a few magic tricks along the way, and finally mastered the Art of Producing.  He also spent some time as a bartender and taught a few pizza-making classes in Brooklyn.

These days, Rob lives with his wife in Bordeaux.  It's here, in this historic city ideally situated in the southwest of France, where Huntoon Productions was developed.
